All versions of WordStar for Windows appear for sale from time-to-time, but I'd recommend that unless you want to run it on Windows 3.0, or you're a collector, that you only buy WordStar for Windows 2.0.

One problem on eBay is that WordStar for Windows 2.0 is sometimes confusingly advertised as WordStar for Windows 95 version 2.0. The advertiser is using the fact that the box has a sticker saying that the program works with Windows 95 as an excuse for suggesting that this is a Windows 95 version - it is NOT. There never has been a Windows 95 version of WordStar for Windows, so if you already have WordStar for Windows 2.0 don't buy it unless you want a second copy. If you have WordStar for Windows versions 1.0, 1.1, or 1.5, or Xoom Word Pro then it may be worth buying; you'll be getting WordStar for Windows 2.0.

Vasant Agrawal in India has a supply of WordStar for Windows 2.0 3.5" disk sets. These are original sealed boxes containing the North American version of WordStar for Windows 2.0 (has US and British English dictionaries), a manual, registration card, etc. The price is US$25 + US$25 shipping by courier worldwide. Payment by telegraphic transfer or mailed banker's draft in US dollars.

All versions of WordStar for DOS appear for sale from time-to-time. Unless you want to run the program on very old hardware you'd be better off sticking to the later releases and avoiding version 3.x.

WordStar 6.0

If you're looking for WordStar 6.0 then John.Kerruish in the UK has about 20 unused educational packs for sale. These packs are sealed bags of 5.25" floppies, a manual and a licence card.

If you can't use 5.25" floppies John will copy your disk set to CD free of charge. You'll be sent the originals and the CD copy. The CD will have a folder for each floppy, so you can create your own floppy install set. Each pack is £10-00 (approx US$17) including postage if within the UK, for international orders postage is at cost.

A company called Trio Consulting continues to announce that it still has manufacturing rights to versions of WordStar up to version 4.0.

I've only seen WordStar 2000 for the AT&T Unix PC advertised once, and that was on the eBay on-line auction.
